Unfortunately the troubleshooting didn't work so I rang as advised and told to bring the front screen of the thermostat in. John advised that the 10 year old thermostat shouldn't be doing this, and it was replaced free of charge, regardless that it was no longer under warranty. I travelled from Inverloch to Wheelers Hill thinking I needed a new control panel for our 15 year old air conditioning system.
