The Smart Temp SMT-770 Chameleon Smart Thermostat is designed to adapt to almost any HVAC application, just like the reptile it is named after. Whether you’re controlling heating, cooling, heat pumps, or air conditioning systems, the SMT-770 automatically adapts to suit both the equipment being controlled and the needs of the people using it.
Ideal for residential and commercial installations, the SMT-770 can be configured to control heat pump systems, including auxiliary and emergency heating, as well as gas or oil heating with add-on cooling. Installers can customise the thermostat to support multiple heating and cooling stages, configure high and low balance points, and select single or multi-speed fan operation, making it suitable for a wide range of HVAC systems.
The flexible user interface allows the thermostat to operate in either programmable or manual mode, with support for single or multiple temperature setpoints and fully customisable schedules. If your requirements change in the future, the SMT-770 can be easily reconfigured without replacing the thermostat.
For larger commercial projects, the SMT-770 features integrated Modbus RTU communication, enabling seamless integration with Building Management Systems (BMS). Every setting and operating parameter can be remotely monitored, adjusted, locked, or controlled from a central location, making it an excellent choice for schools, offices, hotels, apartments, and commercial buildings.
